Steadfast Group Limited is an unlisted public company comprising 270 independent, Australian-owned, medium sized insurance brokerages. We are both a share-holder and owner.

With 320 offices around Australia, Steadfast is Australia’s largest independent insurance broker group, generating over $3 Billion in annual premium turnover.

We have achieved a rate of growth well above the market average, year by year, since the group was established in April 1996.

That growth reflects the extent to which our member brokers have built a name for outstanding service and performance within the highly competitive insurance industry.

Our national and international membership and association allows brokers to assist with current trends and new insurance markets.

In fact, there is no type of insurance that the Group cannot or does not handle.

NIBA

The National Insurance Brokers Association of Australia was established in 1982. It represents around 500 member firms and 2,000 individual Qualified Practicing Insurance Brokers (QPIBs).

NIBA member firms are subject to strict screening. They also agree to enforceable codes of conduct and practice. One requirement of membership is that they employ and encourage QPIBs who meet professional and technical competencies.

The Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance is the leading provider of insurance education, training and professional services to the financial services industry in Australia, New Zealand and the Asia Pacific region.
